It explores the organization and operation of corrections, including voting and processes of parole, as well as supervising and assessing the performance of correctional officers. It examines the processes design, organization, planning, theoretical principles, accountability, and ethical considerations. It also looks at the legal and policy issues and dynamics of the criminal justice system. Additionally, Correctional Administration covers the principles of crime prevention, rehabilitation of offenders, and the re-entry of offenders back into the general public.
